NAVO MSRC Navigator. Fall 2002

Abstract

The NAVO MSRC provides Department of Defense (DoD) scientists and engineers with high performance computing (HPC) resources, including leading edge computational systems, large-scale data storage and archiving, scientific visualization resources and training, and expertise in specific computational technology areas (CTAs). These CTAs include Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Climate/Weather/Ocean Modeling and Simulation (CWO), Environmental Quality Modeling and Simulation (EQM), Computational Electromagnetics and Acoustics (CEA), and Signal/Image Processing (SIP). The articles in this journal include COAMPS, High Resolution Weather Forecasts for Mississippi and Louisiana Coasts; A Distributed Model Coupling Environment for Geophysical Processes; Nanoscale Damage and Dynamic Fracture in Glasses; Data Mining Ocean Model Output as well as article on high performance computing, scientific visualization, programming environment and training, navigator tools and tips and upcoming conferences and events.
