Simulation Modeling and Statistical Network Tools for Improving Collaboration in Military Logistics
Abstract
This report describes the research completed by Florida International University on military collaboration. The research first reviewed and generated a literature review on collaboration. The research created an agent-based simulation model named the Team Coordination Model to study collaboration between a group of people on a defined job or mission. The agent-based model was used to study military operations in an urban terrain scenario. Additionally, we developed statistical tools to analyze social networks to uncover collaboration patterns.
