Distributional and Biological Notes on Mosquitoes from Sri Lanka (Ceylon) (Diptera: Culicidae)

Abstract

Distributional and biological information is given for the 64 taxa of Culicidae collected from Sri Lanka during 1970-73 by Smithsonian Institution personnel from the "Biosystematic Study of the Insects of Ceylon" project. Several species represent new records for Sri Lanka.
