A New Species, Culex (Culex) Litwakae (Diptera: Culicidae), from the Coastal Region of Kenya

Abstract

Culex (Culex) litwakae, a new species from the coastal region of Kenya, is described and illustrated in the adult, pupal and larval stages. This species is contrasted with Culex antennatus, a closely related species from the Middle East and Ethiopian Region.
