Real-Time Computing on Multicore Platforms

Abstract

The objective of this project is to develop real-time scheduling and synchronization algorithms that are well-suited for multicore platforms and to implement these algorithms within a real as. Towards this objective, new multiprocessor real-time scheduling algorithms have been developed that are optimized to deal with specific cache layouts and performance asymmetries.
