How to Avoid Future UXO Problems by Peering Into the Past

Abstract

Ms. Frow, US Army Technical Center for Explosives Safety (USATCES), conducts ordnance and explosives (OE) site assessments and prepares Archives Search Reports (ASR) for the Corps of Engineers Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS) Program. As a member of the Range Rule Implementation Guidance Development Team, she is participating in development of the Range Rule implementation policy for the US Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville (USAESCH). She has extensive experience in various Department of Defense (DOD) ammunition and explosives programs, e.g., Army's ammunition stockpile, FUDS, chemical demilitarization, prepositioned ammunition ships (PREPO), retrograde, etc. at worldwide locations.
