Abstract

PURPOSE: Provide an information brief of current and future shelter initiatives focused at the tactical and expeditionary level within the Marine Corps * Issues not being addressed: In-depth details about each new initiative. MISSION: To serve as the Commandant's principal agent for acquisition and sustainment of systems and equipment used by the Operating Forces to accomplish their war fighting mission. TEAM MISSION STATEMENT: Provide the material solutions (including: rigid wall shelters, soft wall shelters, collective protection, camouflage and respective supporting equipment) to protect the operating forces from observation, environments and combat hazards.
