Battlespace Situational Awareness and Layered Sensing

Abstract

This report summarizes the Battlespace Situational Awareness and Layered Sensing concepts. The concepts produce a scenario of new capabilities that would enhance the Air Force-Distributed Common Ground System (AF-DCGS) - the AN/GSQ-272 SENTINEL weapon system. The use of dynamic re-tasking capabilities and the Layered Sensing attributes were combined to demonstrate new capabilities to the Warfighter.
