Test for Chemical Induction of Chromosome Aberrations in Cultured Chinese Hamster (CHO) Cells With and Without Metabolic Activation. Test Article. Diethylene triamine trinitrate (DETN)

Abstract

Diethylene triamine trinitrate (DETN) (100% pure) was tested for its potential to induce chromosome aberrations in cultured Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells with and without metabolic activiation according to OECD TG 473 in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice. DETN was found negative at concentrations 100, 500, 100, 2500, and 5000 ug/mL in both with and without activation. A confirmatory chromosome aberration assay was performed without activation also showed negative.
