Multiscale Issues and Simulation-Based Science and Engineering for Materials-by-Design

Abstract

Through actively participation, engagement and steering community activities and literature survey, this project is to evaluate the progress and the state-of-the-art of multiscale research issues, and to arrive at a strategy for planning and execution of programs to achieve the vision of "material-by-design". A key part of this effort has been to examine modeling at the mesoscale.
