AFOSR Research Programs in Image Fusion

Abstract

The U.S. Air Force Office of Scientific Research supports basic research in image fusion within several programs. These programs are presented in context of Air Force technology needs for targeting, image exploitation, and autonomous systems. Programs include research involving human perception and neural processing in other biological systems, algorithms for fusion from multiple sources and platforms, and novel sensors. Available mechanisms for support of collaborative research will also be presented.
