Cyber Disrupt and Deny (Cyber D&D)

Abstract

The purpose of this research effort was to study cyber deception and evaluate information technology (IT) suspicion within a human operator. Researchers focused on examining how and under what conditions subtle manipulations cause individuals to become suspicious. This project attempted to develop measures to assess the effects of IT and other cyber tools on human operators. A full description of the effort can be found in ?Development of IT Suspicion as a Construct and Subsequent Measure? by Captain Matthew Olson, USAF (AFIT/GEM/ENV/09-M15, ADA50246).
