Single-Photon Detection Using High Frequency Acoustic Waves on GaAs/AlGaAs Heterostructures

Abstract

The aim of the work within this grant has been to make a series of devices and perform a series of experiments that would demonstrate proof-of principle for the single-photon detector shown in Fig. 1. Much of this work is described in detail in the authors other publications.
