A Nuclear North Korea

Abstract

This essay will analyze the development of the current nuclear crisis from the most important aspect of all - through the eyes of the North Korean leadership. The essay will argue that current U.S. policy towards North Korea is too hard-line and inflexible, and that in order to maintain stability and achieve national strategic goals with respect to the Asia-Pacific region, U.S. policymakers must comprehend and adapt to the myriad of experiences which affect the Korean psyche.
