Abstract

The DTIC Video provides a glimpse into the history and mission of the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC). DTIC is the premier provider of scientific, technical, research and engineering information for the Defense Community. DTIC facilitates collaboration among researchers, the exchange of scientific and technical information (STI) and federal research and development (R&D) activities, and supports open access initiatives. Access is available to unclassified through classified reports, DoD funded R&D information, and research and analysis services from the Information Analysis Centers (IAC). Collection and dissemination of STI ensures the protection of the warfighter, supports strategic and tactical decisions essential to combating all foreign and domestic enemies, and saves taxpayer dollars.
