Trials to Determine the Consequences of the Accidental Ignition of Stacks of Hazard Division 1.2 Ammunition

Abstract

This paper describes the current rules and underlying philosophies governing the storage of HD 1,2 ammunition in the US, UK, and NATO. It then describes in detail the trials program, methodology and results obtained so far and make some initial suggestions for the revision of the quantity-distance relationships for HD 1,2 storage. In conclusion the future program of trials is describe.
