Multiple Venturi Airflow Measurement System Certification for Propulsion Development Test Cell J-2

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to evaluate the J-2 airflow measuring systems. The study provides the results comparing flowrates for various configurations from six fixed and eight remote actuated venturis having a nominal throat diameter of 10.2 in. to two reference venturis of 35 in. and 13 in. throat diameters.
