Selected Physical Properties of 2-Chloroethyl-3-Chloropropyl Sulfide (CECPRS)

Abstract

The vapor pressure, density, viscosity, surface tension, flash point, and melting point were determined for 2-chloroethyl-3-chloropropyl sulfide (CECPRS), which has been identified as a major impurity present in bis (2-chloroethyl sulfide) that had been stored in ton containers. This is the first time that all of these properties have been reported for CECPRS.
