Electrical Substation Sustainment. Basrah, Iraq

Abstract

We are providing this report for your information and use. It addresses construction work performed on five electrical substations in Basrah, Iraq, to determine if the projects are likely to remain operational after their transition to the Government of Iraq. These assessments were made to provide you and other interested parties with real-time information on relief and reconstruction projects in order to enable appropriate action to be taken, if warranted. The Commanding General, Gulf Region Division of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers concurred with the conclusions and recommendations contained in a draft of this report and implemented corrective actions as appropriate.
