Separation Kernel Protection Profile Revisited: Choices and Rationale

Abstract

A variety of critical decisions were made during the development of the U.S. Government Protection Profile for Separation Kernels in Environments Requiring High Robustness (the SKPP); in addition several errata that have come to light since its publication. This paper is intended to help future SKPP users to better understand the intent of the requirements.
