BESCT (Biology, Education, Screening, Chemoprevention and Treatment) Program

Abstract

The BESCT program aims to define molecular abnormalities contributing to lung cancer initiation and progression and to develop innovative therapeutic approaches for this cancer. Our specific aims are: (1) to understand molecular alterations in lung cancer, (2) to develop chemoprevention strategies for lung cancer, and (3) to implement experimental molecular therapeutic approaches for lung cancer treatment.
