2010 Workplace and Gender Relations Survey of Active Duty Members. Statistical Methodology Report

Abstract

This report describes the sample design, sample selection, weighting, and variance estimation procedures for the 2010 Workplace and Gender Relations Survey of Active Duty Members (2010 WGRA). The first section of this report presents the sample design and sample selection procedures. The second and third sections provide information regarding the processing of sample and frame files and the statistical methodology used for sample weighting. Response rates for the 2010 WGRA have also been computed in accordance with the R3 recommendations for the American Association of Public Opinion Researchers (AAPOR, 2008). The response rates for the full sample and for subgroups and the computation methods are described in the last section of this report.
