Injected Omental Lipids for Treatment of Soft Tissue Injury

Abstract

Omental lipids have been shown to be potent angiogenic compounds. In several models, these lipids have improved healing. This investigation was to determine if a single injected dose could improve militarily relevant injuries frostbite and soft tissue injury.
