Navy Marine Corps Spectrum Center (NMSC)

Abstract

The Navy Marine Corps Spectrum Center (NMSC) has been designated the Navy and Marine Corps Center of Excellence for radio frequency and spectrum management. It exercises control of the electromagnetic spectrum for the Department of the Navy (DON) to support fleet/force operations. As part of its mission it procures, protects, coordinates, allocates, and assigns radio frequencies required within the DON at the National Level. This briefing presents an introduction to the organization and mission of the NMSC.
