International Workshop on Nitride Semiconductors 2010 Held in Tampa, Florida on September 19-24, 2010

Abstract

IWN 2010 was the prime forum for research results in Group-Ill Nitrides. The six-day event featured plenary sessions, parallel topical sessions, poster sessions and industrial exhibits. The primary goal of this Workshop was to bring the most recent development in the field to a broader audience. Broader impact could be achieved with a larger attendance by graduate students, post-doc researchers, and young faculty. ONR support was critical to the success of the Workshop as it enabled graduate students and post-docs an excellent opportunity to attend their first national meeting and to network with plenary researchers in their fields.
