Improving Planning for Military Construction of Army Child Development Centers

Abstract

Our overall objective was to evaluate how DoD implemented its plans for the Recovery Act, so that we can ensure accountability and transparency of Recovery Act funds. As part of achieving our overall objective, we determined whether the military construction of Army child development centers (CDCs) was adequately planned to ensure the appropriate use of Recovery Act funds.
