Organized Cognition: Theoretical Framework for Future C2 Research and Implementation

Abstract

The classic concept of C2 has undergone radical changes since the 1990s. This paradigm shift in the traditional execution of C2, its advantages, basic problems, and potential possibilities are the subject of this paper. The paper outlines the notion of organized cognition as a thematic lens for an improved understanding of the basic problems of C2 practices and systems. The concept of organized cognition aims to integrate existing C2-related concepts and extend their use into a wider context. The work addresses on practical implications on the development of future C2 procedures and systems.
