Nonoverlap Property of the Thue-Morse Sequence

Abstract

In this note, we provide a new proof for the nonoverlap property of the Thue-Morse sequence using a Boolean functions approach. We also investigate other patterns that occur in a generalization of the Thue-Morse sequence.
