The Road from a Quick Reaction Capability to a Program of Record

Abstract

The U. S. Army Intelligence Center of Excellence (USAICoE's) responsibilities as the Force Modernization Proponent is: 1) Execute force management responsibilities for biometrics and 2) Ensure DOTLMPF (Doctrine, Organization, Training, Leadership and Education, Personnel, and Facilities) actions are coordinated with Army Commands, Army Service Component Command, Forward Operating/Operations Areas, the HQDA Staff, and others, as required. The ABIS stores and matches fingerprint, iris, face, and palm modalities. The briefing looks at growing capabilities and challenges in the Army's use of biometrics.
