Underwater Ship Husbandry Discharges

Abstract

Because EPA plans to reissue the Vessel General Permit (VGP), the Agency continues to gather information on vessel wastewater sources while examining technologies that can be used to remove pollutants before discharge into waters of the United States. This document contains updated information on recent developments in best management practices (BMPs) for reducing pollutant discharges during underwater ship husbandry.
