Abstract

The study addresses the following issues: (1) Evaluate the technical and economic feasibility of locating solar energy generation within the identified military installations and identify potential areas for solar energy development; (2) Evaluate limitations on the use of solar energy because of military mission, environmental, and jurisdictional constraints; and, (3) Analyze the feasibility and potential for on-installation solar energy generation to provide additional security benefits for the military installations.
