Military Review. September-October 2010

Abstract

Military Review is a refereed journal that provides a forum for original thought and debate on the art and science of land warfare and other issues of current interest to the U.S. Army and the Department of Defense. Military Review also supports the education, training, doctrine development, and integration missions of the Combined Arms Center, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Articles in this issue include: The Top Seven Myths of U.S. Defense Policy Toward the Americas; Inconsistencies and fallacies plague the understanding of U.S. policy in the Americas; Disarming the Key Leader Engagement; Thoughts on the Battle for the Mind: IO and COIN in the Pashtun Belt; and National Will from a Threat Perspective among others.
