Isothermal Titration Calorimeter For Research And Education (DURIP-10)

Abstract

We have purchased a state-of-the-art MicroCal Auto-iTC200 Isothermal Titration Calorimetry (ITC) System. ITC is the gold standard for measuring biomolecular interactions. ITC simultaneously determines all binding parameters in a single experiment which is information that cannot be obtained from any other single method. The system will dramatically enhance the activities in several interdisciplinary projects at Columbia University that have been funded by, or will be submitted for funding to, the Department of Defense.
