Microstructure Analysis of Boron Nanotubes

Abstract

Transmission electron microscopy and electron diffraction technique revealed boron nitride nanotube and nanoparticles in thin film boron nitride prepared by CVD method. Electron micrographs show single walled nanotubes containing these nonoparticles. The electron diffraction pattern confirms this boron nitride has a hexagonal crystal structure.
