Abstract

This text is a brief history of the Communications Branch's research and development projects accomplished since it was formed as part of the Air Force Avionics Laboratory in 1960 up until the present date. It covers the highlights of the Branch's activities, but is not totally inclusive of the hundreds of individual tasks and work units accomplished by the Branch personnel.
