Recommendation of Sensors for Vehicle Transmission Diagnostics

Abstract

The U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL) had entered into a Technical Program Agreement (TPA) with the U.S. Army Tank and Automotive Research and Development Center (TARDEC) for research on Prognostics for Ground Vehicles. One of the tasks under this agreement was to survey/investigate sensors for diagnostics related to ground vehicles as related to transmissions.
