Epigenetic Mechanisms of Folate Nutrition in Breast Cancer

Abstract

The most significant finding in this year of research has been that plasmid AHCY_13A containing a miRNA sequence targeted towards the enzyme S-adenosylhomocysteinase knocks down AHCY protein in HEK 293T cells and does have effects on cancer cell function. We look forward to investigating and characterizing these effects in the coming year.
