Report to Congress on Implementation of Army Directive on Army National Cemeteries Program

Abstract

This report responds to the requirements of Section 1(d) of Pub. L. No. 111 339, 124 Stat. 3591 (2010). In accordance with Public Law No. 111 339, Section 1(d), this report provides the Secretary of the Army s assessment of the Army National Cemeteries Program, which oversees both Arlington National Cemetery and the Soldiers and Airmen s Home National Cemetery. Additionally, it identifies what actions, if any, are necessary to sustain the significant improvements made to the management and operation of our Nation s most revered military cemetery and unique national shrine over the last two years.
