MissileLab User's Guide

Abstract

MissileLab is a Microsoft Windows based Graphical User Interface (GUI) written in Visual Basic that assists the user in running several Missile Aerodynamic Prediction codes. MissileLab allows the aerodynamicist to input one set of geometry and atmospheric conditions and then run several aerodynamic prediction codes with the click of a button. MissileLab creates input files for and executes Missile DATCOM, AeroPrediction Code, Nielsen Engineering and Research (NEAR) MISL3, MISDL, and HASC. A S/HABP geometry input file can also be created. In addition, MissileLab exports Three-Dimensional (3-D) triangulated surface geometry files in several formats. MissileLab features include a user-friendly GUI, Two-Dimensional (2-D) line sketch, a 3-D solid model display of the missile geometry, customizable help information, and display and plotting of the output files from the prediction codes.
