Review of Electromagnetic Frequency (EMF) Safety Program for Homestead ARB, FL

Abstract

A review of the electromagnetic frequency (EMF) safety program at Homestead ARB was conducted. Additionally, a survey of two previously unassessed emitters was performed. USAFSAM personnel identified and corrected deficiencies in the existing base EMF safety program and provided training to BE personnel on the management of the program in accordance with Air Force Occupational Safety and Health Standard 48-9, Electro-magnetic Frequency (EMF) Radiation Occupational Health Program.
