An Analysis of the Performance-Based Service Acquisition (PBSA) and Its Applicability to Hellenic Navy Service Acquisition Activities

Abstract

The purpose of this MBA professional report is to study and analyze Performance-Based Service Acquisition (PBSA) policies and processes within the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) for potential applicability to the Hellenic Navy's service acquisition polices. This MBA Report includes a literature review and background information about PBSA, current PBSA implementation within the DoD, current Hellenic Navy acquisition laws and regulations, legal barriers and constraints to the Hellenic Navy's implementation of PBSA, and recommendations (based on the findings) to the Hellenic Navy for the potential implementation of PBSA.
