Deliveries and Payments for the Defense Advanced GPS Receivers Met Contract Terms, but Property Accountability Needed Improvements

Abstract

Our objective was to determine whether contract deliveries and payments for the Defense Advanced Global Positioning System (GPS) Receiver (contract FA8807-09-C-0002) were made in accordance with contractual agreements and applicable criteria. Additionally, while addressing our audit objectives, we identified that property accountability needed improvement and that there was inappropriate use of performancebased payments. See Appendix A for a discussion of the scope and methodology related to the objective.
