Chemical Defects, Electronic Structure, and Transport in N-type and P-type Organic Semiconductors: First Principles Theory

Abstract

This research provided insight into the factors which limit charge mobility in organic semiconductors by performing theoretical studies of electronic structure and defect stability in n-type and p-type semiconductors. In this research we also investigated chemical defects resulting from x-ray irradiation. A description of the research accomplishments is provided in the pages below, as well as in the archival publications supported by this grant.
