Next Generation Bare Base Waste Processing System (Phase 1)

Abstract

Georgia Tech conducted an engineering analysis which examined the existing Bare Base waste systems support infrastructure documentation. The initial phase of this study focused on identifying the waste source, types and quantities of the existing Bare Base; other forseeable operational considerations which could potentially impact any prospective integrated waste treatment system for future USAF Bare Base operations were also examined. Major deliverables in this report include a quantification and qualification of existing Bare Base waste systems infrastructure to expedite development (Phase II) and system demonstration (Phase III) of an integrated waste treatment system for future USAF Bare Base operations.
