Navy Medicine directly supports the core mission of the Department of the Navy by unparalleled leadership in holistic patient-centered and family-centered healthcare, and in dedicated service of those in need through humanitarian assistance and disaster relief. The Journal celebrates the academic leadership and professional accomplishments of Navy Medicine personnel as well as their colleagues and collaborators in other federal agencies, in institutions of higher learning, and in private agencies around the world.
