Three-Dimensional Translations, Rotations, and Intersections Using C++

Abstract

Three-dimensional (3-D) operations, such as rotations, translations, and intersections, are tools that are essential for many types of scientific modeling. However, the C++ programming language does not natively perform them. This report documents a set of functions, written in C++, that can be used to perform 3-D rotations, translations, and intersections.
