Development of Powder Processing Models and Techniques for Meso-scale Devices: Perspirable Skin

Abstract

The Air Force will require aerospace vehicles and weapon systems with performance superior to those of any potential adversary. The establishment of a new class of thermal management materials, such as microtextured or functionally-gradient ceramic materials, will be a key requirement for the improvement of structural performance and reliability of Air Force systems.
