Hypoxia, Monitoring, and Mitigation System

Abstract

The HAMS program is progressing as expected with no technical issues to report. Partial FY2013 funding remains an issue, but additional funds are expected in November 2013 to continue the program. The concentrated effort on the literature search activity has been completed with moderate success and an FTP site has been created to share references and data among the team members. The baseline parametric algorithm ro predict %O2 saturation and aircrew state has been converted to C and the initial conversion of the USN Consciousness Model has shown positive results and it appears that it will be possible to reduce the model to a size and complexity that will run on a modest microcontroller.
