Context as the Building Blocks of Meaning: A Retrieval Model for the Semantic Representation of Words

Abstract

A computational model of semantic memory is described. Based on simple principles borrowed from a computational account of episodic memory, it is shown that a memory model that is exposed to a large corpus of language can develop representation for words that look like their "meanings". c
