Abstract

1. Meetings: i. Participated in weekly conference calls. ii. Participated in weekly SSV conference calls with the government. iii. Attended CTD & Side Handling Crane FAT at Allied Systems. iv. Attended ABS Kickoff Meeting for NS5 Shipboard Maintenance Software at MARFAC. 2. The following Shipyard Question Submittals were reviewed and commented on: No questions for this reporting period. 3. Logistics: i. Continuing to review Vendor Recommended Spares (VRS). ii. Continuing to review Technical Manuals and Supplemental Information. iii. Continuing to work on initial outfitting lists for Sally Ride. 4. Other Work Items: Markey Technical Manual Received the sheave, winch monitoring and anchor windlass manuals for review. Still awaiting the Cast 6 and Traction Winch Manuals. Allied Side Handling and CTD Cranes Attended the FAT for Armstrong s Side and CTD handling cranes. Also witnessed the revised docking head for Roger Revelle. The FAT went very well with no reportable problems.
